Puglia Imperiale is a land waiting to be discovered, a land dominated by castles and cathedrals that arose largely with the rebirth of the cities in the Norman-Swabian era, and enclosed between the Ofanto Valley, the Adriatic Sea and the hills of the Alta Murgia National Park, a karstic plateau characterised by rocks emerging from expanses of fields, sheep-tracks and centuries-old carob trees.

Imperial Apulia is strongly dominated by the figure of Frederick II of Swabia and the building that symbolises the entire territory, Castel del Monte. The cities that insist in this territory are Andria, Trani, Barletta, Trinitapoli, Spinazzola, Minervino Murge, Canosa di Puglia and Margherita di Savoia with its Saline.
